Cali Trip: Day 3 San Jose

We spent our first day in San Jose driving around, meeting with old friends and looking at the neighborhood where my dad grew up.

My dad photographed this same tree when he was 8 years old with a Kodak Brownie camera. It was cool going back there with him to photograph it almost 37 years later.



We visited the Apple HQ in Cupertino, I got a souvenir.

Cali Trip: Day 1 on the road

My family and I went on a grand adventure to California over spring break to meet with old friends and enjoy time spent with others. We were gone for two weeks, drove over 2300 miles and I took over 2600 photos. It was a great two weeks spent with friends and family. I'm hoping to have a post of images for each day down there. (One per day for about 10 days or so)

Saturday Afternoon Photoshoot

I have shot at this location (Powell Butte) a few times before (first time, second time), but haven't ever done a portrait session there. This was the first time, and both me and my friend Rachael had quite an adventurous Saturday hike there. When the weather is nice (and warm) this makes for a wonderful outdoor location for portraits. I hope in the future there will be more opportunities to use such a beautiful location such as this for portraits.

Right before this shot was taken we saw a little bunny rabbit hopping around near the entrance to the park. Then soon after that we saw these little boys and their mom watching the rabbit, one of the boys said something that was very funny but I can't remember what it was. (Sorry, build up for nothing) :)
