Film 2012

Last week I went and dropped off two black and white rolls of film at Pro Photo for developing, today I got my negatives and two discs back. One of the rolls was Ilford 400 black and white film that I mostly shot during January and some of February. The second was a roll of Kodak T-Max 400 that I used up in May. I'm pretty happy with the results, film is something I enjoy shooting for joy. It's an expensive joy but money shouldn't keep me away from doing what I love. Here are my favorite photos from these two rolls.

Lost Photos

Somehow, recently I've been focusing on posting portraits of people and wedding photos, but have been neglecting to post the landscape shots I've enjoyed taking. Man I feel like a whole season has come and gone without me showing you some of my favorite "not people" shots from the early spring on. So here we go, I present to you my favorite places and scenes without people. So many stories, so much beauty in all places. I hope you enjoy these!

Spring Portraits on the Columbia River

The weather lately here in Portland has been beautiful! It's practically summer already. It's been sunny, and in between the 70s and 90s in temperature. Sooooooo nice! Anyway, on Saturday in went and shots some portrait with my friend Diana. We found a really cool field right along the Columbia river near Camas Washington. It was a good day. Here are some of my favorite portraits of her.
