Cali Trip: Day 7 Last day in San Jose

We had a great time seeing sights and faces in the bay area during our stay there. But our trip didn't end in San Jose, we then headed to Hume Lake in the sierra mountains where my mom's sister and her family live and work. Fun fact: the 3rd largest tree (which is a sequoia tree) in the world is located in the sierra mountain near Hume lake. Also the the camp is close to 6000 feet in elevation, which is pretty dang high up. There was still snow (mostly ice now) on the ground at the camp! Crazy, I wasn't expecting snow when I packed my shorts and t-shirts for Cali. :)

The end.

Moriah and I spent the afternoon and evening with our friends we saw in Santa Cruz but we headed to a different beach this time. The group of us also went to a coastal forest state park which was calm and foresty, before catching the sunset. Afterword we enjoyed some hefty burgers at Chilis which was really tasty! Fun day!

I actually meant the one below the photo of the jetty of the warm toned beach shot. I was crouched down pretty low and just used a wide angle lens to get that low feeling I was looking for.
