Tim & Kirsten's Wedding Preview Post | The Old Church Downtown Portland

I don't want to give it all away right off the bat, but here is a sneak peek of Tim and Kirsten's wedding photos from last weekend at the Old Church in Downtown Portland! This wedding was especially sweet for me to photograph because I grew up with Kirsten's family and younger sister (the maid of honor) since before I was a toddler. So sweet to see family friends of almost two decades getting married. :)

Kate and Shelby's Beautiful Family | Portland Family Photographer

Last month I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Kate and Shelby and photograph their beautiful family. The day gave us perfect weather for shooting in, we were covered by trees and shooting in the late afternoon. Their kids are super cute and full of energy; which made it fun and exciting for me to capture that with my camera. We ended up shooting over in West Linn at a park near the river. I really enjoyed working with them, and a huge thank you to Kate and Shelby!

Film 2012

Last week I went and dropped off two black and white rolls of film at Pro Photo for developing, today I got my negatives and two discs back. One of the rolls was Ilford 400 black and white film that I mostly shot during January and some of February. The second was a roll of Kodak T-Max 400 that I used up in May. I'm pretty happy with the results, film is something I enjoy shooting for joy. It's an expensive joy but money shouldn't keep me away from doing what I love. Here are my favorite photos from these two rolls.
